The Tetons
Grand Teton National Park is in the northwest of the U.S state of Wyoming and encompasses the Teton mountain range with peaks that abruptly rises more than 7,000 feet (2,100m) above the valley known as the Jackson Hole. It’s a popular destination in summer for mountaineering, hiking, backcountry camping and fishing.
Formed when sea floor sediments and volcanic debris were buried up to 18 miles deep as two tectonic plates collided a very long time ago. The landscape we see here in all its splendid Autumn colours is breathtakingly beautiful to behold.
