Each image has been given a title, is digitally signed & dated, it has been personally selected from hundreds of thousands of images captured from all over the world, then processed, re-composed & cropped to a square ratio scene by Jaime himself, once the original source photo has been correctly processed Jaime then applies a creative finish to the image to create a unique photoart painted effect. All images also come with their own story, to bring you into the artwork as if you were standing there yourself and to stir-up some inner thoughts that will emotionally connect you to the scene.
PRINT & MEDIA
JDP Gallery uses our very own Print Lab to produce your image onto a suitable world renowned Hahnemühle paper. (Hahnemühle have been making fine art papers for over 500 years are classed as one of the worlds finest papers, used by museums all over the world). We use the latest Epson large format printers with genuine Epson archival inks, colour corrected lighting & Eizo monitors & rip software, our colour profiles have been created for us exclusively by Australia’s top colour technician Mr Les Walking, all coming together to create the undisputed best quality product available.
We use two (2) conservation whitecore matts, these matts are made from a chemically-treated pulp using pH sizing and are lignin-free, then buffered with calcium carbonate to guard against contamination by air-borne acid for the life of the board. The core high-quality alpha cellulose is lignin-free and bright white throughout. Both matt are bevel cut at 45 ̊ and spaced far enough apart to highlight and further enhance the viewing experience.
We use Dawson’s Clarity UV70 glass exclusively in our PhotoArt frames, it special features include a virtually reflection free appearance design and filters up to 70% of Ultra Violet rays, protecting your print from damaging light, it’s unique water white substrate provides a crystal-clear colour transmission to brighten colours and contrast levels an enhanced surface for better durability and easy cleaning, as well as a proprietary coating which is engineered for permanence.
Our frames are custom made by master framer Scott Dawson of Dawsons Framing Pty Ltd, Scott has been in the industry ever since leaving school, and is re-known for his workmanship, skill and ability, he is a true master framer. Scott specialises in building huge custom frames, he is one of a very few that do it in Australia, and has been recognised by his peers all over the world for his workmanship, he loves creating his very own mouldings, fillets and other speciality framing embellishments. So you can be assured of the quality.
Every print whether framed or unframed is accompanied with several pieces of paperwork, including your proof of purchase invoice & payment receipt, a printed self-adhesive label that has the image story and other details which will be affixed on the rear of the frame or included separately if buying just the print, as well as a signed and embossed frame certificate to accompany your purchase.
If you purchase an unframed print, then this print will be rolled up with a museum grade buffering paper to protect the print, then inserted into a 100mm mailing tube for transit, we use a larger tube to save the print from damage by being rolled up too tightly. Framed prints are bubble wrapped and inserted into a custom made cardboard package that has been especially made for JDP Gallery to transport these frames.
We use Australia Post to deliver your framed or unframed print, you will receive via email a tracking number that is issued by Australia Post at time of receipt, allowing you to follow it up directly online with their parcel tracking service.
