Hamnoy Village
The village has fallen quiet under the gaze of it's mountain neighbour. The crimson buildings bright against the rocky landscape are warm and welcoming. The snow blankets the earth around each home, a graceful note, softening against the harsh, barren earth.
The fishing boats have left for the day, prayers for a full catch of cod carried with them on the ocean breeze. Just one island among many in the archipelago, but this one is home, and all the more lovely for being so.
