Droving the Long Paddock
It's known as the Long Paddock, the ancient and iconic network of travelling stock routes made famous by Australia's bush poets such as Lawsen and Patterson. They are still used today to shift herds in search of greener pastures although now more commonly the stockman ride four wheelers than stock horses.
Still the dust flies and the days are long and weary, the mob must be kept together and moving, life on the land caries on.
