The Road To Monument
One of the most majestic and photographed places on earth Monument Valley is part of the Colorado Plateau and located on the Utah-Arizona border. It is not officially a National Park since it sits within the Navajo Nation Reservation and can be access via a valley floor driving loop that covers of 17km of these red sandstone desert.
In the words of film critic Keith Phipps "the 5 square miles of the monument valley have defined what generations of moviegoers think of when they imagine the "American West". As you journey along your path you can not help but imagine the legends of the West are travelling alongside you.
