Frozen Binoculars
Nothing spared the indignity, the snowdrops covered everything in multiple layers that the bitter winds turn to ice. The binoculars are not immune to the sweet agony of cold as they also get their dose. At their back everything looks old and dry, hidden under a veil of frost bitten purgatory.
Waiting for eager eyes and hands to recover them from their icy wrapping their lenses remain eager and sharp. Almost in human fashion the binoculars stand to face each other. An unexplainable manner creates a smile on their faces as they eternally wait that small shiny coin that brings them fully to life. Yet still they lie, unlikely to receive any welcome attention until the sun returns to touch their silvery skin and warm them free of winters icy grip.
