Iditarod Race Dogs
Alaska is thrumming with excitement for the annual sled dog race that brings tourists and enthusiasts from around the world to witness this long distance sport of man and dog. The Mushers run their teams of energetic dogs through the snow covered streets to the cheering of excited fans.
Pounding through the powdery snow the dogs pull together as one, tongues hanging out and tails waging in their enjoyment of running and racing. It's the day everyone has been waiting for and there is a palpable energy in the air, standing on the side of the track we cheer with the crowd, "Mush!"
