The SS Earnslaw II
This magnificently restored steamship drifts over Lake Wakatipu from a different era, a forgotten time of steam power and the industrial revolution. Left behind to show us around the icon beauty of Queenstowns famed scenery the Earnslaw puffs it's way passed some of the most spectacular views New Zealands has to offer.
The towering mountain alps hem us in, dwarfing their surroundings in majestic snow capped peaks of formidable proportion. The air floating down to us from their heights cooled by the snow is crisp and fresh in our lungs. Edging the lake the evergreens rise spiked and pointed above their more rounded deciduous cousins. Breath taking views everywhere we look, let's climb aboard and explore it all.
