Beechworth Rail Trail Walker
The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is a cycling and walking trail in northern Victoria, Australia. It extends from Wangaratta to Bright, with a side branch to Beechworth, following the route of the former Bright railway line. With autumns arrival the landscape has been dramatically changed with the fiery orange and red colours of the season setting the trees ablaze.
On this day the weather had suddenly turned from mild to cold with a passing rain shower that resulted in a beautiful mist descending upon the Beechworth park that I just had to capture. The gorgeous avenue of trees bordering the old railway line path with a lone traveler, evoked a sense of journey, time and movement.
