Nudgee Beach (Exhibition)
Looking out across the waters of Moreton Bay, Nudgee Beach is the closest beach to Queensland's Brisbane city center. Prolific along the shallow tidal waters of the beech are the shrubby trees known as Mangroves which have adapted to survive in the salty waters with complex root systems to deal wave action and low oxygen levels.
Facing the north I've captured this image of these three sprawling Mangrove trees growing up out of the water to take advantage of their line formation and symmetrical appearance. You can just make out Redcliffe on the far left horizon and filling the foreground are the beautiful watery reflections to balance out the image.
