A serene moment captured on still waters—an abandoned small fishing rowboat rests peacefully near the shore, tethered close to an old jetty. This contemplative image evokes a sense of solitude and tranquility, inviting viewers into a quiet landscape of natural beauty. The gentle ripples and soft light create an atmosphere of calm reflection, perfect for those seeking to bring a moment of peaceful escape into their space. A timeless meditation on simplicity and the quiet charm of lakeside life.

The famous Long Jetty is located in the Central Coast suburb of Long Jetty on Tuggerah Lake (not Terrigal), and was originally built in December 1914 by William Henry Price. Origins and Construction (1914–1915) William Henry Price built the original structure using paperbark tree trunks. Length: It measured 1,050 feet (about 320 metres) to reach deep enough water in Tuggerah Lake. Purpose: It initially serviced Price's private estate, opening to the public in 1915 to transport people and goods from inland Wyong via lake steamers. Naming the suburb: The area took its name from the landmark timber walkway
