Strolling along the gravel paths through the golden Poplar trees we look out at the marvel of Wanaka Lake glimmering in the sunshine. Such crystal clear waters that gently lap the shores as we follow along its edge amidst the fallen yellow leaves that litter the path, crunching underfoot with every step we take.
Native songbirds flutter in and out of the branches overhead calling to each other in high pretty voices. The wind coming in across the water from the distant snow capped mountains beyond is cool and fresh on the skin. A quiet place, gentle and soothing to the soul, beautiful in its Autumn colours, natures playground to explore.
