Reaching willowy branches heavenward towards the rising moon the famous little New Zealand tree sits ever still on the edge of Lake Wanaka. Sweetly bliss to the travelers that come ceaselessly to pay it homage it effortlessly gives perfection to the incredibly beautiful landscape it calls home.
The fading light lingers eerily across the sky turning it's vast canvas gorgeous purples and pinks before our eyes. The fresh air drifts across the lake to greet us and the last rays of sun gently light the distant mountains in a bath of matching colours. Standing on the pebbly beach we are enraptured in the beauty before us while the quaint little town of Wanka twinkles it's lights in the early evening night.
