Tacking Point Sky
Under a star spangled sky on the east coast of Australia we watch the Southern Cross slowly rotate it's way around the South Celestial Pole. The Milky Way hovers across the inky blue canvas directly above the little squat dwelling of Tacking Point Lighthouse.
A mesmerising sight on this crystal clear of Port Macquarie nights, jutting out on its rocky headland guarding the coast from the unknown dangers of the ocean at night. Feathery clouds stretch themselves thin on the ocean breezes and reflect down to us the city lights. A peaceful place to sit listening to the waves crash as the stars shine.
