Sunset Through the Aspens IV
The long lines of shadows slowly stretch across the forest floor, creeping ever nearer as the sun inches down between the white willowy trunks. The dying day is turning the world and golden hue of yellow, taking the light and leaving the sky muted and sort with its going.
A canopy of autumn sunshine still high against the afternoon sky and a matching golden blanket of fallen leaves cover the ground below. Winking at us between the ghosts of trees the fiery eye dazzling says goodbye.
