Bridging the gap is nearly complete but the construction site lies dormant under the night sky. Eerie reflections glimmer across the mirror like surface of the water in neon strips like wading ghosts. The incomplete work abandoned in the night looks wounded, left gaping on its peg legs of steel and cement.
The city lies out of reach on the distance shore, unobtainable in the night yet glowing teasingly at us stuck on the other side. Spirit like ghouls of clouds move spookingly, taunting in their movement while the construction has to wait.
