Ropes & Pots
Stacked by the jetty's edge the orderly piles of ropes and cray pots stand waiting to be put to use. Walking past the smells of the deep ocean left behind on the equipment reaches into our nostrils telling tales of their latest catch. Overhead seagulls soar on the air currents with throaty calls to their friends of what they spy below.
The wharf is place of constant coming and goings, of local fisherman and restaurant merchants, sightseeing tourists and day trippers, of work and leisure and play. A place of meeting in any seaside town, of gathering news and discussing the weather, let's see who's about to tell us some fishing tales.
