Road to Crater Lake
Like giant standing feathers the snow covered pines line the roadside in a numberless guard watching over our journey. The snow has fallen so thick that it's forming walls beside the tarmac, an unending white tunnel through the frozen wilderness we traverse.
And gently still it falls from the white covered sky in floating crystal flakes, each perfect in creation, a scientific wonder countless in their infinity of design. The frigid air cause our breath to mist in the silent landscape, on we go, down the frozen road through the winter wonderland.
