Moscow In Winter
The streets are covered in snowy slush and slippery ice but even that and the sub freezing temperatures can not keep us warm inside, there is too much to see on the illuminated streets of the busy Russian capital. In the grip of a record snowfall season the inner city streets are dazzling with the twinkling sparkle of a million glowing lights.
Like a magical winter fairytale the icons and impressive architecture are frosted in snow like iced gingerbread castles and lit up to the stave off the cold bitter night. Every footpath is lined with illuminated monuments and momentos, beckoning us on to explore further still into the festive winter city. Moscow's magical charm is on full display and we can not help but enjoy the glittering show.
