Lake Manapouri
New Zealands, South Island is home to Lake Manapouri which is oft described as the most beautiful of all the lakes in the Land of the Long White Cloud. With thirty three small individual Islands with its shores and the majestic Cathedral Mountain Range as a backdrop it's hard to argue. The native bush hovers right on its shores and sandy coves are waiting around every bend to discover.
Situated at the edge of Fiordland National Park, the lakeside town of Manapouri provides a base for journeys into the glacier-carved wilderness.
