Lac Louise
Rugged against the bitter chill in the air we pad through the fluffy freshly fallen snow, sinking deep with each step, waiting for our feet to find a stable bottom before stepping out again to explore this winter wonder world. The world around us is hushly silent, the white blanket absorbing any sound, muting the typical forest noises and creating a calming and tranquil but oddly eerie environment.
Heavily laden with the fall the fur tree branches sag under the cold weight of winter, looking like Christmas against the majestic mountain ranges at their backs.
