Today on Victoria's rugged southern coastline only eight of the towering limestone stakes of Australia's famous Twelve Apostles still stand proud in the swirling frigid surf. You can see them jutting up proudly just off the shore of Port Campbell National Park along the Australian heritage listed Great Ocean Road hugs the coast for 243km between Torquay and Allensford.

The massive limestone structures boasting splendid names such as Razorback, Island Archway, Thunder Cave, Bakers Oven Rock, Sentinel Rocks and the Grotto are all glorious at both dusk and dawn. Towering up to 45 metres above the tempestuous Southern Ocean they can be viewed from the majestic 70m mainland cliffs at their backs. Every year the fierce ocean storms still roll in and cause even more erosion however you can still stand beneath their mighty shadows or indulge in a guided walk along the Loch Ard Gorge to wander at their majesty in person.
