Grand Canyon III
Exposed layers of raw red earth lie open to the canyons edge, cut away by the passing waters for more than a millenia or two. Lined and craggy in places, smooth and crumbling in others, at its very depths the culprit that wore the canyon into existence.
Almost swirling right back upon itself the muddy waters appear morose and unpretentious but time has always been on their side. With their journey they have carried away a river of earth, still shaping the terrain, forging cliffs, eroding their empty playground, creating an icon.
