Floral Colours II
Like a shy smile in a sea of strangers the dainty opening flower catches our attention amidst the green foliage of its mother plant. Gaily coloured, half crimson and half canary yellow like someone dipped it in a tin of artist paint and left it hung out to dry on this vine. Trumpting with life it calls to the honey bees, come see what treasure I hold, dip your wings to my pollen and feast on heavens nectar. Life calling out to life so that they both may not only exist but carry on.
