Full to over flowing the topaz blue waters of Lake Tekapo have swollen high up their banks to swallow the weeping Willows where they stand. Their golden yellow tops, changed by the season hold their heads just above the cold blue waters in glowing balls of fluff that appear to float on the lake.
Lined like soldiers on parade the pointed forest pines border the scene in a line of rich deep green. At their back the majestic mountain range pokes above the tree line rising up into the powder blue sky in the soft southern light. Pristine New Zealand views that spoil the sense with the raw natural beauty.
