Drought Reality II
When there is nothing left in the paddocks but the cattle themselves, land baron of even the spindliest grass. Dust flies free on the gentlest stirring of the breeze and the wide brown land lives up to it's iconic and rightly given name.
The sky so wide open and heartrendingly bare of those precious clouds the farmer is praying for, and yet he looks for them still. He does what he can to keep the cattle alive, holding on, holding out, watching and waiting, hoping and praying for rain.
