Desert Highlight
Across the red brown earth, dry and thirsting for a drenching downpour the sky is building in long heavy clouds, dark and promising. Full of life giving rain, a blessing of life to the hot dry desert, spreading over the valley in a declaration of what is soon to come.
On the horizon the layered earth pushed up from below the surface shows its stripy layers of rock to the world. A peak of mothers natures making, looking out of the tussocky grounds below, the first to be washed by the coming rain, waiting with an eager heart.
