Cradle Mountain II
Soaring above the Tasmanian Highlands we watch the light play across the rugged landscape alternately turning the craggy peaks golden and bright then throwing them back into cold dark shadows below us. The brilliant yellow Fagus clearly scene against the rocky face of Cradle Mountain this time of year while the trees are in full bloom.
Misty clouds roll across the cold blue sky filtering the suns rays, a gigantic wilderness of majestic beauty wrapped in the silky confines. Mother nature displaying her flair for the dramatic all around this wildly beautiful landscape.
