Sitting on the edge of the Southern Ocean, snug in the rock lies the sheltered swimming pool of sea water, barely screened from the incoming tide it waits for the swimmers dawn will bring.  The rumbling waves crash relentlessly at it's moorings, often breaching the walled edge and cascading across the still water.

The water is cold against the skin and the salty tang lines your lips, the night is not the time to dip in its transparent waters.  So you sit and listen to the waves roll in and out, watch the stars winking in the night sky and the moon cast its glow across the gleaming water.
