Breakaways at Sunset
Once covered by an inland sea the Breakaways are one of South Australia's Outback gems. Approximately 33 kilometres north of Coober Pedy they're a striking rocky landscape of flat-topped mesas and home to an array of native fauna and flora.
The Kanku-Breakaways Conservation Park forms part of the traditional country of the Antakirinja Matuntjara Yankunytjatjara people and covers almost 15,000 hectares.
