Blowhard Hut II
Covered in winters snowy coat Blowhard hut that was originally built for tourism, by the Victorian Tourist Board stands out on the high mountain top with its angular pitches and sharp lines. With the passing of time skiing became a greater passion and the hut was converted for the use of this winter sport.
Today, the hut is locked but built with corrugated iron walls and roof has stood the test of many windy winters. The roof has a high gable and an unusually large skillion and although mostly its original sturdy construction it was extended in the 1980s.
