High Country Bush
It's the end of winter in the Australian High Country and clear blue skies reach over the mountain tops in crystal fresh air, a beautiful landscape to explore on foot. The rugged terrain is strewn with boulders and the short shrubby foliage that only grows above the snow line squishes underfoot as we tread.
Like spindly ghost the white baron branches of winters trees reach up out of the mossy earthy waiting for spring to bring them new green leaves. A magnificent isolated place of epic beauty high above the rest of Australia, visited by few, an untouched wilderness to explore at our leisure.
