Before the Muster II
The Robbins Island salt water cattle muster involves about 25 stock workers, 750 cows and 750 calves and three salt water channels just off Tasmania's northwest coast. Brothers John and Keith Hammond own Robbins Island, and have been running the seasonal musters this way just like the two family generations before them their entire lives.
Living out history the riders and their trusted mounts silhouetted against the misty sky set a dramatic scene.
