Beechworth Railtrail II
Following down the old path that once was a railway line we wander through the shady autumn trees losing their colourful leaves to the change of the season. Scattered all around our path lay their rust coloured litter, crunching and rustling under our feet as we pass.
The avenue draws us on to discover what's around the bend, the air is musty with fresh earth and mulch from the trees, the air cool and fresh on our skin. Birds flit through the branches calling to one another of our trespass, sheltered from the sun we walk in the dappled light as the sun plays through the canopy overhead.
