Avenue of Oaks
This stunning avenue or grand old Oak Trees can be found at Boone Hall Plantation, one of America's oldest working plantations, continually growing crops for over 320 years. The antebellum era plantation is located in Mount Pleasant, Charleston County, South Carolina, U.S.A., and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The oak tree has long been prized for legendary strength, longevity, and excellent wood properties. Especially sought out in South Carolina are the Live Old Oak Trees with their massive twisting branches and shady canopies.
