Antelope Canyon I
Shinning down from the world outside the sun rays enters the deeper canyon in a stream of brilliant white light like a searchlight to the canyon floor. In its glowing beam we can see the dust swirl on invisible currents in and out of its path. From the dirt floor it reflects out, bouncing off the rock walls and lighting the space in a beautiful ethereal glow that has us enraptured with its beauty.
The textured walls feel rough and dry under our fingers as we make our way through the twists and turns of the orange tunnels. Guided by the light and shadows we inch our way along the sandy floor on silent footsteps not knowing what lays around the bend. Deeper into the canyon we wander tempted by its winding to passages, just one more turn to see what's hidden up ahead.
