Chureito Pagoda Sunset
The iconic Chureito pagoda sits on a hilltop facing Mt. Fuji in Arakurayama Sengen Park and can be reached via 398 steps that lead you up the slope. Constructed in 1963, the Pagoda is a peace memorial and a popular destination in the Fuji Five Lakes area, standing five stories high it is a part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine complex.
The view from the deck is as breathtaking as the atmosphere serene, definitely a must do for autumn colours or the beautiful springtime Cherry tree blossoms.
