Rawlings Stock Yards
Captured just outside of the quaint and picturesque town of Meeker in Colorado this country is the gateway to the heart of the Flat Tops Wilderness Area and the head of the White River. An area steeped in the history of the American Wild West, Indian battles and the rangeland issues of the early Cowboys and Sheep-men.
The purpose of sheep yards is to confine sheep and control their movement and what a beautiful place to be working the stock, especially with the autumn colours turning the range golden orange all around.
