Like natures maze the wall of spindly trees dappled with the freshly fallen snow stand in our way impenetrable with no view of the other side. It's eerily quiet in the laden forrest, cold and bleak yet breathtakingly beautiful all at once. Feeling drawn to the mysterious landscape you are pulled to enter the treeline but at the same time reluctant to explore too far into the tangled mess for fear of losing your way.
The fresh snow crunches underfoot with every step leaving a trail of your passing but for how long, will the snow soon return to cover any sign of your trespass? It's daunting to be so alone in such a wild place, the sense of extreme and adventure all consuming your more courageous side.
