Mont Saint-Michel
Sitting like a fairy tale village out on the water the walled Mont Saint-Michels is an island and mainland commune in Normandy, France. The island is located about one kilometer off the country's northwestern coast, at the mouth of the Couesnon River near Avranchesshimmers in the early morning light.
Seven hectares in area Le Mont-Saint-Michel has long "belonged" to some local families who shared the businesses in the town and succeeded to the village administration.
