#9 Cabinetry & Tiling

The cabinetry guys turned up with men and tools, in no time flat they were into it, banging and sawing, grunting and groaning and by the end of the day I have a fully installed kitchen & bar area, meanwhile Leigh got busy tiling the sunny, all of the tiles are down and bedded in, he will be back tomorrow to do the wall tiles and grouting after that. #8 Finish-Off Palstering

Well the plaster fix out finishers turned up this morning and straight into it, a team of just three guys strutted around on leg extensions making them about 2.7m tall so that they could reach the ceiling easily. The space now looks like a room soon to...

I have decided to go with spotlight basic lighting, there will be three rows totalling about 20 lights, dimmable LED white...

#5 Services & Rough-in

Stage three of the renovations has commenced today, with the first of the basic services being installed into the gallery ceiling void, Mark from Staycool started installing the air-conditioning ducting, looks like a big silver snake weaving around the roof cavity to deliver very important cool & warm air during the seasons.   My cabinetry guys were here, Endre for Dimension Design, he is doing the cabinetry, so was here to confirm the measurements for where the kitchenette & bar will be installed.  Leigh from Leightal Constructions spent some time double checking completed work and to organise some modifications that are...
